Walk off your lunch at LaFramboise Island 

PIERRE, S.D. – All are invited to “walk off your lunch” at a walk in the park at LaFramboise Island at 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 10.

During a mile-long walk along River Trail, hikers will learn about the different groups of people that use LaFramboise Island and how the nature area is managed by the Department of Game, Fish and Parks.

Participants should meet at the picnic shelter. Please wear appropriate hiking gear and dress for the weather. For more information, contact Farm Island Recreation Area at (605) 773-2885.
