Southeast South Dakota Birding Trail

This free, color guide to special birdwatching places in southeastern South Dakota was made possible by the cooperation of nine partners. The guide highlights 33 accessible sites. Each site description includes information about habitats, birds to look for, best birding months, special tips, and a point of contact for the site. Color photos feature many of the bird species that might be encountered. A bird species checklist helps you keep track of your sightings.
