Public submitted report - February 10, 2010:
Was just out at Lake Alvin in Lincoln County.  I caught one 5 inch crappie is all around 3:30 pm and had 3 other bites at sundown using waxies and minnows in 15 ft of water.  I dont know what the O2 readings are, but the little guy was almost rusty orange in color and stunk. don't know if it is getting sulfury down there or what.  maybe someone could check that out. didnt bring him up to fast, was hooked normal, and got him back to the hole within 10 seconds and he took a minute to liven up and swim back down. where the heck are the fish biting?? this season has been horrible!
