What Is Prey (Food) For A Mountain Lion?

Mountain lions are carnivorous, meaning they eat meat.  They are not typically carrion eaters though, and prefer to kill their own prey.  They may return to a kill several times to feed, before the meat goes bad. Mountain lions are at the top of the food chain and are capable of taking anything in their territories.  The animals displayed below are primary sources of food, but many others exist, too.
