WALL LAKE – Minnehaha Co., accessible shore fishing

Wall Lake Access Area is located 6 miles south and ¼ west of Hartford, in Minnehaha County.  This fishing access area project was proposed to provide accessible shore fishing access.  The project included the construction of walkways, parking lot resurfacing, and the purchase of a floating accessible fishing pier. 

This fishing pier will be known as the Allen D. Knapp Memorial Fishing Pier in memory of Al Knapp who was a Regional Fisheries Manager for the Dept. of Game, Fish & Parks, in the Sioux Falls area.
