1Text box: Rendezvous Camp

Rendezvous CampsiteRendezvous is a gathering where furs and supplies were traded during pre-1840 time period. The Brookings Renegade Muzzleloaders and traders from near and far take visitors back  to this thrilling era. Stop by the camp, located at the far West side of the grounds, and hear tall tales of adventure, watch traders show off their mountaineering skills, and bargain for kettles, pelts, knives or blankets.

Friday afternoon and throughout Saturday and Sunday the rendezvous traders and campers will compete in black powder shoots and Tomahawk throws.


Shooting Participant Information

Aggregate Shoot Starts 1:00 PM Friday/Ends Saturday 2:00 PM. Period Clothing for shooters encouraged (Hat and Shirt minimum)- Shoots may start 10-15 minutes early. SHOOTERS FEE $10

~ 5- 6 PM Tomahawk Throw – Shooting Range – near Southwest edge of camp

11:00 - Noon Team Shoot (Timed)
