Ranch Rodeo Team and Event Specifications - Each four person team must have a female member. All teams need a team name. The entry fee must be paid before the team will be entered in the ranch rodeo, and the team entry fee is $120 dollars. There is a limit of 12 teams. Complete western attire is required. There is a mandatory team meeting at 12:30 on June 8. Ranch Rodeo events will include team sorting, team doctoring, trailer loading, and ranch penning. Before the rodeo, event orders will be drawn. The points scoring system will be 12 points for 1st, 11 points for 2nd, and 10 points for 3rd. No times will be awarded 0 points. In the event of an overall tie, the total amount of time from all events will be added up and the lowest amount of time will win the tie breaker. If a team has a no time event, the team with times in all events will win the tie breaker. All judges decisions are final, and roughing the cattle will result in a disqualification for that particular event and receive no points. |
