LaFramboise Race Rides on Despite Rainy Weather
PIERRE, S.D. - Rainy weather and a muddy course did not stop the annual LaFramboise Island Mountain Bike Race from taking place. Hardcore mountain bikers from across the region competed in rainy conditions at LaFramboise Island Recreation Area in Pierre, S.D. on Saturday, June 2.
“The race went well,” said John Simpson, event coordinator. “There were no injuries, no problems and no issues. Just a hard ride in marginal to rainy conditions – everyone got dirty, wet and muddy!”
