Little Bend Boat Ramp Reopening, Bush’s Landing Ramp Closing
PIERRE, S.D. – Game, Fish and Parks officials say one Lake Oahe boat ramp is repaired and will be reopening while another ramp will be closing.
Repairs have been completed to the Little Bend boat ramp, west of Onida on Lake Oahe. The ramp will reopen Saturday, Sept. 24. Starting Monday, Sept. 26, the Bush’s Landing boat ramp will be closed for repairs. Bush’s Landing is also located west of Onida, just a bit upstream from the Little Bend ramp.
Bob Schneider, assistant director of the South Dakota Division of Parks and Recreation said, "The project will include improvements to both the primary and low water ramps at Bush’s Landing. The closure could last up to four weeks. Boaters seeking access in that area should use the Little Bend ramp."
