Volunteer Job Description
Office Volunteer
Work Schedule
If office volunteers are staying at volunteer campsites, each volunteer works a
minimum of 24 hours per week for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days providing
administrative assistance. If office volunteers are not staying at a volunteer campsite,
the total work hours per week will be determined by the volunteer and the Park Manager
together. Office volunteers will work with the Park Manager to determine specific job
duties and scheduled times to work. Accommodations
All volunteer sites have electrical hook-ups. Volunteers provide their own housing,
personal items and their own transportation to the office in the park. Duties
Duties and percentage of time spent on each will vary park to park and
season to season. The list below shows duties that may occur for this
position. Upon application, the park manager will indicate which duties
apply.
Reception
Answer the telephone according to park format
Meet the public coming into the office area
Respond to basic questions from the public
