Lake Oahe Boat Ramp Report
(conditions current as of Dec. 7, 2009)

Lake Oahe boat ramp information is updated as conditions change. Please check regularly for any changes before making travel plans. Reports are for GFP managed boat ramps only.

This report is provided to keep boaters up-to-date on ramp conditions due to the changing water levels of Lake Oahe. For conditions of other ramps, please contact the local Game, Fish and Parks office.

Ramps currently open are listed in bold type.

Ramps that are in service have approximately three feet or more
of water above the bottom ramp elevation.
Boaters should always
use their own judgment when deciding to launch from any ramp.

How to determine approximate amount of water above ramp
Subtract the bottom ramp elevation for a ramp - found in the above grid - from the current water level of Lake Oahe (type in OAHE) - found on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer website, updated hourly. The result is the approximate amount of water above the ramp.

Ramps that are in service have approximately three feet or more of water above the bottom ramp elevation. When the water level falls below the bottom ramp elevation plus the three feet requirement, the ramp is closed. Boaters should always use their own judgment when deciding to launch from any ramp.
