The Wildlife Division offers a wide range of educational support materials and services. With educational handouts, teacher trainings, and presentations, we can help you teach about South Dakota's fish & wildlife resources. Education Services Programs & ServicesWe have a variety of educational materials available at no charge. No Child Left Inside helps you take your kids or students outdoors to learn about nature and the outdoors. Project WILD is an international curriculum designed to teach students about wildlife conservation. Check out our list of available resource trunks available for loan. The Hunt SAFE program includes hunter safety certification and bowhunter education classes. "If you care..." for information about wild animal babies in the spring time. The Outdoor Campus is our outdoor education facility in Sioux Falls. Becoming an Outdoors-Woman and Becoming an Outdoors-Family workshops offer hands-on classes in a variety of outdoor skills & topics. The Aquatic Resource Education program provides educational programs, materials, and publications for teaching about fish, fishing, and fisheries management. The Natural Source includes a set of materials, activities, and fact sheets about South Dakota wildlife and habitats. Check out information about Youth Conservation Camp, a week-long event for high-school students aged 14-17. This event is held in partnership with the South Dakota Wildlife Federation.
