Project WILD - Wildlife Conservation Through Education

Project WILD teaches students HOW to think--not WHAT to think--about fish & wildlife conservation. The curriculum guides contain over 260 hands-on activities for grades K-12.

How do you get your hands on these guides? By attending one of our training workshops. These workshops range from 2 to 15 hours, depending on the curriculum. We can also offer workshops for renewal, undergraduate or graduate credit. Thanks to the financial support of sportsmen and -women through the purchase of hunting and fishing licenses, Project WILD materials are offered for FREE.

Workshop Options:

Basic Workshop (K-12 and Aquatic Guides) 6 hours
Flying WILD (focus on birds; middle school) 2 hours
Science & Civics (high school) 6 hours
WILD About Mountain Lions 3 hours
WILD About Elk 3 hours

All of these workshop options can also be expanded to 15 hours in order to offer college or renewal credit. Additionally, we can tailor workshop content specifically for your group. Workshops must include a minimum of 10 participants.

Project WILD activities are correlated to state content standards. Click {here} to see how these activities can be used to help you meet state standards.
