Lake Francis Case Other Sport Fish

Northern Pike: High water levels in the mid-1990’s provided excellent northern pike spawning habitat, resulting in an increase in pike abundance. Pike are found throughout the reservoir and provide a good bonus to a day’s catch. While angler harvest and low pike reproduction, due to unfavorable spawning conditions, have reduced the overall numbers of northern pike, anglers can still expect to see a few trophy-size pike caught from Lake Francis Case over the next few years.

Keeping white bass, catfish and other species INSTEAD OF WALLEYE will help maintain our walleye population during periods of low reproduction and recruitment.
