2008 Aberdeen HuntSAFE Class Schedule

HuntSAFE courses are designed for persons age 12 through 15. Persons who are 11 may participate, but will not be issued a Hunter Safety certification card until their 12th birthday, unless the card is clearly marked that the card is not valid until the person’s 12th birthday. If a student’s 12th birthday falls between September 1 and December 31, he/she may be issued a card and is eligible to obtain a license and hunt beginning September 1 of that year. Adults are also welcome and invited to attend!

Scheduled Courses: Require pre-registration two weeks in advance of the class at the Game, Fish and Parks Office, Aberdeen, located at 5850 E. Highway 12, phone 626-2391. All HuntSAFE classes run from 6 p.m. SHARP to 9 or 9:30 p.m. Class size is limited to 70 students per session. Classes will be held at the Brown County Sportsman Club Terry O'Keefe Hunter Education Center. Three classes are planned: April 16, 23 and 30; May 7, 14 and 21; and Aug. 4, 11 and 18.
