State Law requires that juveniles 12 through 15 years of age successfully complete a HuntSAFE course before he/she can obtain a SD hunting license.  HuntSAFE courses are designed for children ages 12 through 15.  Since class size is limited, priority will be given to students who will be eligible to hunt this year (12th birthday occurs on or prior to December 31, 2008).  Students who are 11 may participate on a space-available basis, but will not be issued a Hunter Safety certification card until their 12th birthday.  Adults are welcome to attend.
