CAUTION: Pass shooters are urged to NOT hunt waterfowl under power or telephone lines for safety reasons and to prevent damage to utility lines.

NONTOXIC SHOT -- Approved nontoxic shot includes steel shot, bismuth-tin, tungsten-polymer, tungsten-matrix, and any combination of tungsten-iron-nickel-tin-copper-bismuth.

CANADA GEESE
Includes Canada geese, brant and all other geese except white-fronted and light geese.

The daily and possession limits include Canada geese, brant and all other goose species except light geese and white-fronted geese, which have their own bag limits.

• UNIT 1-- Season dates: Sept. 27, 2008 -- Dec. 21, 2008

> Those areas of South Dakota that are not in Units 2 or 3 or in one of the Special Units.

• UNIT 2 -- Season dates: Nov. 1, 2008 -- Feb. 13, 2009

> Unit 2 includes the counties of Potter west of U.S. Highway 83, Sully, Hughes, Hyde south of U.S. Highway 14, Buffalo, Brule, Charles Mix, Bon Homme, Gregory, Lyman, Stanley, and Dewey south of U.S. Highway 212.

> Also includes Fall River County east of SD Hwy 71 and US Hwy 385, Custer County east of SD Hwy 79 and south of French Creek and all of Perkins County.

DAILY LIMIT. * 3 Canada geese (or any goose species other than light geese and white-fronted geese).
