Lake Louise Recreation Area

Lake Louise was made in 1932, when the south fork of Wolf Creek was dammed. Water depth in this 164-acre impoundment averages nine feet, with a maximum depth of 25 feet. Panfish are a popular catch here. Anglers and hunters come to this area for its abundant game. The park is located in the heart of pheasant and duck country, making it an ideal place to set up camp. The waters of Lake Louise mirror the clouds on a calm, sunny day.

Water Recreation
Drop a line in the water and you're likely to come up with panfish every time. The wheelchair accessible fishing pier puts anglers right on the water. On calm days, paddlers can tour the large impounded lake for hours.
