Pease Creek Recreation Area

With almost 600 acres to explore and easy access to the Missouri River's Lake Francis Case for great fishing, Pease Creek has become a popular day use and camping park. The wooded terrain provides both for shaded campsites and hiking opportunities on the bluffs above Lake Francis Case. Trees provide shaded campsites and Lake Francis Case provides water fun at Pease Creek Recreation Area.

The area's hilly, wooded terrain provides a challenging excursion, whether on foot or on your mountain bike. Currently under construction, the horse trail will lead through wooded areas and offer views of the Missouri River. Learn more about horse camps and trails in South Dakota state parks.
