DEER POACHER ARRESTED


One call is all it took to arrest a poacher who killed these 5 deer during closed season and at night. Jason Baldwin, Conservation Officer for Stanley County, made the arrest. Suspect was fined $1,465.00, had his hunting privilege revoked for one year and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 140 suspended on court conditions. He must also pay $5,000 in civil damages for the 5 deer.  Totals equaled $6,465 and 40 days in jail. Conservation Officer Jason Baldwin with five poached deer
