Pheasant Poachers Caught


One call from a sportsman lead to one of the biggest pheasant busts. A poacher from Murfreeboro TN and and another from Bowling Green KY were caught with 150 pheasants. The daily limit is three and the possession limit is 15 per hunter. They were each sentenced to $7210.50 in fines, 570 days in jail with 10 days served on conditions of the court, lost their hunting privileges in North, South and Central America for three years, 456 hours of community service and had to pay $6000 in civil damages.
