South Dakota Great Lakes Birding Trail
This new, free, color guide to special birdwatching places in central South Dakota was made possible by the cooperation of eight entities. The guide highlights 42 accessible sites on public or tribal lands. Each site description includes information about habitats, birds to look for, best birding months, special tips, and a point of contact for the site. Color photos feature many of the bird species that might be encountered.
