PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Environmental Education for Grades 3-5,
Fall 2009
"EE for 3-5" targets teachers and learning leaders of students in
grades 3 through 5. The course designers want to help teachers gain
confidence in their ability to effectively integrate the natural
world with the demands of South Dakota’s science content standards.
This course will be offered on-site at The Outdoor Campus in
Sioux Falls and statewide over the Dakota Digital Network
videoconference system that connects all of the school districts in
the state.
Participants can register for two topics and complete a
culminating activity to earn one college credit. To earn two
credits, participants must register for all four topics and complete
two culminating activities. The four topics offered are Project WET,
Project Learning Tree, Ag in the Classroom and Project WILD.
Contact Kay Gannon at 362-2777 or kay.gannon@state.sd.us to
request the course syllabus and/or a registration form.

All classes at
The Outdoor Campus are sponsored by South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks
through the sale of hunting and fishing licenses. Please thank the
