Hunter Safety Card Replacement

South Dakota requires firearms hunter safety cards for youths ages 12 to 15 to be eligible to purchase South Dakota hunting licenses. Cards from classes taken in other states are honored.

If you ever completed a HUNT SAFE course in South Dakota, you can replace your card online, or  send your name, full mailing address and date of birth to: Wildinfo@state.sd.us

You can print your own replacement card from the online system. Allow a minimum of two weeks for delivery for mail-in requests.
