2008 EARLY FALL CANADA GOOSE SEASON

Nonresidents may not hunt in the counties of Beadle, Brookings, Hanson, Kingsbury, Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Miner, Minnehaha, Moody, Sanborn, Turner and Union during the Early Goose season.

Season Dates:

The season dates will be set at the commission meeting July 10.

Licenses

  • Residents will need a small game license, migratory bird certification stamp, and federal waterfowl stamp.
  • Nonresidents licenses are $45.
  • Obtaining one of these licenses does not affect eligibility for other nonresident fall waterfowl licenses.
  • *The federal waterfowl stamp is required.

Limits

  • Daily -- 5 
  • Possession -- 10
  • Shooting Hours -- One-half hour before sunrise to sunset.
